With the clear tube, it was easy to see when I needed to go refill the feeder but thanks to the high capacity I didn’t have to worry about it very often.

The lid and base, both of which are metal, are very easy to remove. They both twist off very easily which is always nice. There are no tools needed to open this up to clean which is always a big relief.

There are no special cleaners to buy either. You can use simple glass cleaner or soap and water to clean it and put it back in place.
